"The nature of puberty is physically created by our life force expanding toward maturity -- when assisted by zooming hormones -- result in the amazing body changes we all can see. These same forces open a girl to new concepts; new ways of thinking and perceiving. Puberty is a time when many beliefs are formed or hardened, therefore, this time in a girl's life is the perfect opportunity for infusing positive thoughts and images into her awakening mature body/mind system. We must support girls and young women to see themselves for who they truly are - having unlimited creative potential." Quote from article, Empowered Girls Will Change the World!"

"Girls need nourishment for their hearts and spirits in order to grow and be emotionally and physically healthy young women. To help girls feel good about themselves we need to celebrate them and be joyful about our own lives. “Dear Pam,Someone tipped me off that your book was just out and of course I ordered it immediately and read it in one go. It deeply touched me and helped me a lot…I want to thank you for your book, for your inspiration, for your love that I felt so abundantly when I was reading your book"
~With love, Myra Pieters-Engelkes, from Holland, 4th year student at BBSH Europe
"I opened your new book, Passages into Womanhood: Empowering Girls to Love
Themselves, and I felt your energy reach out and hug me, as if you have imprinted
yourself (I suppose you have!) in the pages themselves. The loving embrace I felt,
as I was scanning the table of contents, wishing, of course, that something like this
had been around when I was younger, touched me on a level I did not expect. I cried
tears of many emotions for the next several minutes. I have never had an experience
like that, from simply looking at the table of contents of a book before. It is
abundantly clear to me the love that you hold, and that you have put in this project.
I am looking forward to reading it completely. I am in awe already."
A few days later Lynn wrote: "Dear Pam, I finished reading Passages into Womanhood,
and it lived up to my expectations - and I felt like you were holding me the entire
time I read it. What a gift. I found it a moving book to read, and already I feel that
it has informed how I am with my daughter. Thank you for helping bring this to
